Brett Boyers has stepped down as franchise director at Boparan Restaurant Group (BRG), MCA understands.

Boyers joined Giraffe in March 2012 from Individual Restaurants as an operations manager. He became the brands head of franchise in 2015 and franchise director of the wider BRG business last February.

Earlier this month, BRG, which operates the Giraffe, Harry Ramsden’s and Ed’s Diner brands, appointed a new international development director, as it eyes overseas expansion.

The company, which plans to its brands into Europe and is currently seeking master franchisees or area developers, has appointed Judd Williams to the role.

Williams previously spent 12 years at Costa, including the last two years as international development director for Costa Express.
