Boparan Restaurant Group has appointed David Sayer as its new chief financial officer (CFO).
Sayer, who joined the group last month, was previously CFO at Magnum Brands Group, where he’d worked for just over a year, and before that he was finance director/acting CFO at Zoopla.
Boparan, whose brands include Gourmet Burger Kitchen, Carluccios, Giraffe, Eds Easy Diner, Fishworks and Cinnamon Club, has been intensifying its expansion of the Slim Chickens franchise in the UK.
It is on target to reach more than 30 Slim Chickens sites this year, and announced earlier this month that it had partnered with Tesco Extra, with its first site opening within the supermarket retailer’s Redditch store on 17 August.
