AG Barr has appointed Nicholas Wharton to the board as an independent non-executive director, with effect from 1 November 2018.
Wharton was most recently chief financial officer of Superdry. He retired in July 2018 and is currently a non-executive director of Mothercare.
The soft drinks and mixers producer said he bring extensive financial and commercial experience to the Board, having held a range of senior roles across FMCG and retail including Dunelm, Halfords, Boots and Cadbury Schweppes.
