Moody Burgers exceeds crowdfunding target

Burger delivery and collection service Moody Burgers has exceeded its crowdfunding target of £150,000 with three days to go.

It has currently raised £156,500 from 202 investors, with the money earmarked for the expansion of its delivery service and the launch two additional Moody Burger sites.

The company launched in 2016, with its first site opening in the former Boston Bros bar in Swindon in September of that year, and a second at Sherriff Street industrial estate, Worcester in March 2017.

The concept is being led by Carl Anderson and Alan Murray, who ran the former Rift & Co estate, following its demerger from Revolution Bars.
