CKL Restaurants’ The Wolseley has defied the consumer downturn to turn in a profit of about £208,000 for the year to March against a near-£1m loss the previous year.
Sales at the Piccadilly restaurant, in the West End of London, more than doubled to £7.7m.
CKL is run by Jeremy King and Chris Corbin, previously of the Ivy.
