Supreme Foodservice is suing Compass Group for $125m (£72m) in connection with allegations of impropriety in the way the contract caterer won United Nations peacekeeping contracts.
The Swiss rival has filed a “complaint” in a New York district court alleging Compass’s Eurest Support Services division engaged in fraud and bribery to win the contracts.
Compass said it would “resolutely defend” the claim and did not thin it would have a material financial impact.
