Rick and Jill Stein pocketed almost £1m from their Seafood Restaurant company in Padstow, Cornwall, last year.
Accounts filed at Companies House shows the business made record sales of £7.5m in 2003, up from £6.8m, the previous year.
However, pre-tax profits fell £500,000 to £1.4m after a near-£500,000 boost to their pension.
