Valuable updates on progress in the tenanted pub company sector will be available from key players involved in the industry at the forthcoming Tenanted Pub Company Summit 2012.
The must-attend event, organised by M&C Report and the Publican’s Morning Advertiser and sponsored by Diageo, Sapient Corporate Finance and CPL Training Group, takes place at the Landmark Hotel in London on Wednesday, 27 June.
Speakers include Adrian Bailey MP, chairman of the Business Innovation & Skills Committee (BISC), who will discuss why he believes there needs to be intervention in the sector.
He will take part in a discussion panel on the theme of self regulation, alongside other speakers at the event, British Beer & Pub Association chief executive Brigid Simmonds, and Rodger Vickers, chairman of the Pubs Independent Conciliation & Arbitration Service.
Shepherd Neame chief executive Jonathan Neame, trade consultant Phil Dixon and Association of Licensed Multiple Retailers chief executive Nick Bish will also take part in the panel.
A separate discussion panel will look at issues from an operator’s perspective. It will feature Simon Collinson of Oak Taverns, Hamish Stoddart of Peach Pub Company, Paul Wigham of All Our Bars and Tony Leonard, co-owner of the Snowdrop Inn at Lewes, East Sussex.
The full-day event will also include exclusive results of CGA’s benchmarking survey of tenants and lessees, while him! will provide insights into what customers think of tenanted pubs.
