Zenith Hygiene Group, the hygiene company that has a clutch of hospitality clients, has reported a 3% increase in revenue to £15.8m. The privately owned company, which counts Eat, V8, Faucet Inns and Cosmo among its customers, said the increase in turnover underpinned the continued turnaround of the business since its buyout in November 2008. It has also been awarded a £3.6m contract with the Ministry of Justice to supply cleaning chemicals to the prison service. Zenith has also strengthened its management team with the appointment of Michael Cronk as a member of the board. Cronk is a former director of E D & F Man and will provide advice on strategy and acquisitions as well use his network of contracts to deliver further sales to the group.
