Residents in an exclusive New York apartment block have complained about "unbearable smells" of duck and bacon" from a giant extractor fan in Gordon Ramsay's new restaurant at the London NYC Hotel.
They alsoclaimy noise from the fan and an air-conditioning unit in the kitchen is unbearable, keeping them awake at night and hitting the value of their homes. They want council chiefs to give Ramsay a formal code-violation notice.
The New York Times's food critic Frank Bruni has given the restaurant just two stars out of four, describing the food as "predictable"
