Pizza Express’ has expanded its retail channel with a new frozen range of pizzas, pastas and a garlic bread.

It comes after the casual dining brand introduced a rebrand of its chilled retail offering including refreshed packaging. 

The company said that the new frozen range aims to ”unlock new meal occasions at scale”, giving customers greater access to ”restaurant quality” pizzas at home.

The omnichannel brand was one of the first casual dining brands in supermarkets after first launching a retail range more than 20 years ago.

Pizza Express’ retail range now represents a substantial part of the business, with c. £110 million retail sales value.

The new range, features both original recipes and recipes inspired by iconic classics and incudies the Margherita Speciale, the American Speciale, the Padana, Pollo BBQ, Lasagna, Spinach & Ricotta Cannelloni, Pollo Forza Pasta, Spaghetti Meatballs and Garlic Bread with Mozzarella.

It will launch in Tesco, the brand’s biggest retail partner.
