Drake & Morgan is to open its second site in Manchester and 23rd in the UK.
The Anthologist will launch this summer in a 6,000 sq ft, 185-cover site at One St Peter’s Square.
The company already operates The Anthologist in London’s Gresham Street.
The new site will trade seven days a week for breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner; offering a choice of seasonal dishes, flatbreads and sharing boards as well as small plates, gourmet sandwiches and burgers. The group said there would be an extensive wine as well as premium spirits, craft beers and ciders and an evolving cocktail list. There will also be a range of zero proof concoctions including super skinnies coming in at under 50 calories.
