Crepeaffaire the New York-influenced patisserie concept, is set to ramp up its expansion plans over the next 12 months both across the UK and internationally. The five-strong group, which is led by Daniel Spinath, will open three new sites across the UK over the next four months and is also in talks to open its first international sites in Germany and Holland as part of a new joint venture. Locations in Hamburg and Frankfurt are currently being discussed. The new openings in the UK comprise franchise sites in Cardiff at the St David’s shopping Centre before Christmas and at the Centre Court centre in Wimbledon early next year. It will also open a company-owned unit at Trinity Leeds next March. The group is also looking at launching a new grab and go format under the Crepeaffaire umbrella as it looks to ramp up its expansion opportunities. Currently privately owned, Spinath told M&C Report last year that the company would “probably need to explore outside investment routes” going forward in order to match its expansion targets. The company, which opened its first site in 2004, also operates units in Soho, Spitalfields, Westfield London and Westfield Stratford City.
