Coke Zero, Coca-Cola's biggest brand launch in Britain for decades, could be in danger of falling flat.
Sales have suffered sizeable falls for three consecutive weeks following an initial burst during the hot weather of June and July.
Coke Zero was dubbed "Bloke Coke" when executives decided to target young men who normally avoid diet drinks.
Company chiefs have refused to comment on growing rumours it is planning a new push into the British water sector following the Dasani fiasco.
