Belhaven’s pre-tax profits for the current year are forecast to climb almost 18% to £16.7m.
The Financial Times says the Scottish brewer and pub group is in a good position to fulfil its plan to increase its number of pubs from 246 to 300 by the end of 2005.
The shares rose 7.5% this week after reporting another year of record profits.
