The famous Mayfair nightclub Annabel’s has been sold to clothing tycoon Richard Caring in a £90m deal. The club opened in 1963 and was named after Annabel Vane-Tempest-Stewart, the aristocratic wife of its founder Mark Birley. She later became Lady Annabel Goldsmith.
