Sessions MCR

Sessions is set to launch its second landmark venue in Manchester in early 2024.

The growth platform and food hall concept will open a 30,000 foot site in the St John’s Development, Manchester’s new ‘city centre neighbourhood.’

The site will offer a blend of independent talent from the Northwest along with global brands, aiming to represent an epicentre for culinary talent in the region.

It will add to Sessions’ current portfolio of more than 120 delivery kitchens and two venues: Brighton’s Shelter Hall, launched in 2020, and Islington’s Neighbourhood, launched in 2022. Each features regularly rotating kitchen residencies to allow customers to discover new chefs and brands.

Dan Warne, founder and CEO, commented: “It is always our desire at Sessions to find the most exciting talent and concepts and anchor them in dynamic physical environments. The Shipyard represents expansion into a new region, via a scheme that represents a cultural heartbeat for the community.

“We hope to incubate some of the top talent from the area and give them national and international reach via our network, while introducing some of the most interesting concepts from around the world to the people of Manchester.”
