Za Za Bazaar, the a new world banquet and bar concept, which opened its first site in Bristol at the end of November, has secured a second unit for the brand in Norwich. The group, which is planning a national rollout, has taken a site at the Riverside Leisure scheme with an opening planned for next spring. The privately-funded company is exploring the country for further opportunities to expand the concept, with Mitesh Joshi, a former site finder at Perfect Pizza and Domino’s Pizza, leading the search for new locations. The group, which is led by Nitin Bhatnagar, is looking at sites between 15,000sq ft to 40,000sq ft in university cities & towns, high footfall areas, town centres and leisure parks. The £3m venue in Bristol, which serves from India, China, Japan, the Far East, South America and Europe, in the former Baja nightclub site, next to the Pitcher and Piano, on the city’s waterfront, is claimed to be the biggest restaurant in the UK.
