High street salad chain Chop’d has invested £110k in digital developments ahead of the reopening of its sites next Monday (12 April).

The business, which was acquired by Inc Retail earlier this year, has invested the money in several areas including Chop’d’s website, digital menu screens, and a new mobile app and ordering system.

The app will enable customers to place their orders for click and collect from their smartphone, with the aim of simplifying the ordering and pickup experience.

Inc Retail said at the time of the acquisition that as part of the deal significant investment would be made in expanding the menu offering, website, and back-end ordering systems.

Chop’d currently operates from 12 high street locations across London, Leeds, Liverpool and Manchester.
