Triple Two Coffee, the cafe franchise, has signed a deal with Aso & Sons to launch in Saudi Arabia.

The international franchise partner is expected to open its first store in April 2019 and plan to expand throughout the Saudi capital.

Abdulaziz Al Othaim & Sons Holding Company (Aso & Sons) has investments in real-estate development, construction, education, retail and industrial investments.

Swindon-based Triple Two has eight UK stores open, three confirmed in the pipeline, and further plans for cafes in Royal Wharf, London Bridge, Kingston Bentall Centre, Cheltenham, Worcester, Reading, Oxford and Bath.

The concept, which was founded by David Hodgetts and Sezan Walker, has 40 franchisees signed up, with store formats ranging from kiosks to full coffee shops.

The business is backed Alistair Tillen as a non-executive director, who was the founder of price comparison website Simply Switch.
