Daniel Batham & Son, the West Midlands brewer and pub operator, has reported a 42% rise in pre-tax profits in the year to 30 June 2012. Turnover for the company, which runs 11 managed pubs, grew 4.4% to £5.2m. Operating profits increased from £868,978 to £1.3m. In its accounts published at Companies House, Bathams said: “The group continues to modernise its brewing process in order to increase sales and provide well-maintained public houses complicit with current regulations.” No dividends were paid in the year.
