A private investor has completed the acquisition of 87-89 Park Street, Bristol for £2.95m in an off-market transaction.

Acting for a private client, Coffer Corporate Leisure acquired the landmark Grade II Listed Building, which occupies a prominent position in the affluent area of Clifton, opposite the University of Bristol.

The property is arranged as a large restaurant unit, let in its entirety to Jamie’s Italian.

Jack Silvani, director at Coffer Corporate Leisure, said “This is an extremely defensible asset - prime real estate in an affluent area that benefits from a huge volume of footfall. We focus on the fundamentals of a property investment rather than the covenant; the location, pitch, prominence, suitability for designated use and rental growth prospects are of more vital importance when assessing its value.”

Hartnell Taylor Cook acted for the vendor.
