Allplants, a UK-based vegan meal delivery start-up, has secured £7.5m investment led by Octopus Ventures.

The company will use the funds to double its team of 40, broadening its dishes, and build a bigger production kitchen.

Additional investors in the round include existing backer Felix Capital, Otiva, partners at VerlInvest, ex-CEO Tyrells David Milner, MoneySupermarket founder Simon Nixon and video blogger Jack Harries.

The delivery service is available as a one-off or on a subscription basis, with chef-made, vegan meals, reheated at home.

Allplants was founded in 2017 by brothers Jonathan and Alex Petrides, and has since served over 250,000 meals.
