The Draft House, the London-based craft beer concept led by Charlie McVeigh and backed by Luke Johnson, is to start a trial with Deliveroo through its Northcote Road site, MCA has learnt.
The trial will feature items from the group’s bar snack offer and wide range of beers.
Earlier this summer, Deliveroo confirmed it was moving into the alcohol delivery sector through partnerships with Majestic Wines and BrewDog alongside a number of independent bar operator.
Consumers can now order wines from eight Majestic Wines stores across London and from 20 BrewDog locations nationally with delivery times set to be around 20 minutes.
Deliveroo is also working with independents like Lea and Sandeman, Honest Brew, Mother Kellys and Vagabond Wines.
The Draft House will make its regional debut in Milton Keynes this October.
The group has acquired the Secklow Hundred at the entrance to Milton Keynes’ Hub district, which was placed on the market as part of a 34-strong package of pubs by JD Wetherspoon last year.
McVeigh told MCA that the company hoped to secure a further site, most probably in London, before the end of the year, and that although trading in the year to date had been variable, like-for-like sales growth had been between 4% to 6% across its estate.
