Shake shack debuts in Reading

Shake Shack is to open its latest delivery only kitchen this week in Reading.

Marking its debut in the town, the Reading site will launch through Deliveroo Editions on Thursday, operating from 12pm to 10.45pm seven days a week.

With 12 walk-in restaurants in the UK, the brand launched its first Editions kitchen in May this year in London’s Battersea, followed by further sites in London and Brighton.

It currently has all but one of its sites – in Gatwick’s North Terminal – reopen, and launched a series of new initiatives through lockdown including click-and-collect and a DIY at-home burger kit.

Consumers ordering from the Reading kitchen via Deliveroo can choose from a number of Shake Shack’s signature items including the Shack Burger, the Smoke Shack, crinkle cut fries, chick’n’bites and classic drinks.
