Prezzo has signed up with Uber Eats to deliver food from 80 of its UK locations, with plans to expand the partnership further before the end of the month.

Jay James, director of marketing and communications at Prezzo said it was excited to partner with Uber Eats to offer an additional delivery method for its customers.

Restaurants which launched on Uber Eats yesterday included: Bournemouth, Oxford, Glasgow, Manchester Media City, Cambridge and Bristol.

The Italian casual dining chain was recently acquired by investment firm Cain International in a pre-pack administration, which saw 22 of its restaurants close, leaving it with an estate of 156 sites.

Following its CVA in 2018, Prezzo’s trade had improved and the company had made good progress with its turnaround plan, however the challenges encounter due to the pandemic resulted in Cain International acquiring the business in December last year.
