Deliveroo has announced a new partnership with BP and Marks & Spencer Food as UK lockdown commences.

This service be available via the Deliveroo app and is aimed is making sure isolated people at home have access to household essentials.

The partnership will be run through 120 M&S franchise stores located at BP petrol stations across the UK.

A selected range of approximately 60 M&S products will be available to order and delivered to people’s homes within 30 minutes.

Delivery from this service will be free of charge, with a range comprising milk, bread, pizza, ready meals, cereal, pasta, rice, tinned and canned goods.

The service went live in Cambridge on Wednesday and will be rolled-out across Reading, Brighton, Nottingham, Manchester, Leeds and London over the next two weeks.

Deliveroo and Co-op also have a nationwide partnership, with nearly 400 Co-op stores on the platform across the UK.
