Deliveroo, the London-based food delivery network, has begun a trial with Bill’s, the Richard Caring-backed chain, as it gears up to launch into a further 25 UK markets in Q3, MCA has learnt.

The company, which recently initiated a delivery rollout across Jamie’s Italian, has also rolled out its delivery offer across BrewDog bars nationwide after a successful trial in London.

MCA understands that the group has also started working with KFC and Burger King at selected sites.

At the same time, MCA has learnt that the company is in talks with a handful of pub chains regarding launching a delivery offer and has recently begun delivering from the Urban Pubs and Bars-owned Rose Pub & Kitchen site in London’s New Cross.

The group has begun trialling with Bill’s, which operates c80 sites nationally, at its High Street Kensington site.

Last week, MCA revealed that Majestic, the UK’s largest specialist retailer of wine, had begun a trial with Deliveroo.

The company, which has over 200 stores across the UK, is understood to be currently trialling a delivery service with Deliveroo through its St John’s Wood and Covent Garden sites.

Earlier this year, Deliveroo made its first move into the wet-led category with trials across three BrewDog’s bars in London and with Vagabond, the award-winning wine shop and deli concept.

It is believed to be in talks with other wine merchants.

The London-based food delivery network, is due to hit revenues of £130m this year.
