Village London, the London-based company behind Riding House Café, Village East and The Garrison, is understood to have lined up a fourth site in Victoria.

The group, which was founded by Adam White, is opening an all-day offering in Land Securities’ Nova development in September 2016 with 150 covers, an outside dining area, upstairs bar and private dining area.

White said: “As I am still unsure of the name, I am proposing it as the evolution of the Riding House Cafe, an all-day deluxe Café concept with an exciting and fun evening offer. We are very excited about Victoria, with such a density of residents and exciting companies, it has been terribly underserviced by way of good restaurants and we have been trying to find a good home there for many years. Victoria has always lacked a hub, Nova are certainly providing that next year and we are proud to be at the heart of it.

“I have been looking at Victoria for many years. Most people see Victoria as simply a train station, but there have always been a lot of interesting businesses and creative people living and working in the area, just without the amenities seen in many other neighbourhoods.”

The deal is believed to have been brokered by Cedar Dean Gilmarc.

Village London opened the Riding House Café in Great Titchfield Street in March 2011.

The 180-cover brasserie-style restaurant features an all-day menu comprising modern European dishes, including the Riding House burger.

The business is split between a formal dining area and a more casual eating area with a long cocktail bar and adjacent lounge.

As previously highlighted in M&C Report, D&D London, Shake Shack, Jamie Oliver and Jason Atherton have all been linked to openings at the Nova development.
