Devon-based Ode-True Food is to expand its sustainable café concept through a partnership with The Gara Rock Hotel in the South Hams, Devon in April 2015.

The 150-seat casual cafe space will feature a breakfast, juice and deli counter, open kitchen and bar serving craft ales from Two Beach Brewing Co, organic and bio dynamic wines, local ciders and soft drinks.

Local fish, crab and lobster from the surrounding Bays will be delivered daily and organic meat will play a prominent role on the daily changing menu with the aim of providing dog walkers, day trippers and beach goers “family friendly food that does not cost the earth” that can be served “eat in or take away”.

Signature dishes will include Pulled Duckaller farm pork slider with South Devon chipotle chilli sauce, ODE ale battered fish n fries and cinnamon salt, Haldon range fallow deer scotch eggs with spiced mayo and sweet soy glazed Lyme Bay mackerel feature.
