Itsu is seeking to recruit a head of learning and development as it looks to ramp up its national and international expansion plans.

A successful candidate for the £60k a year role will create and oversee the implementation of the group’s learning & development strategy, which supports the development of its shop managers.

The 58-strong group is looking to ramp up its regional expansion over the coming 12 months, with the company targeting opening another 10 to 15 sites outside of London. It will soon open in Reading and is believed to have also secured a site in Bicester.

Its new head of learning and development will also oversee on-going developmental needs within the group through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with academy director and head of people operations.

He or she will also be expected to design new and expanding existing training and development programmes based on Itsu’s behavioural needs based on the company “itsu Qualities”.

The company will open its next regional site at the end of August in Reading, while further openings are being lined up in Leeds, Manchester and Bristol.

It recently opened its latest unit at 47 King’s Road, Chelsea.
