Costa Coffee has secured six new sites on retails parks owned by British Land as part of the property company’s strategy to increase the food and leisure offer across its UK retail portfolio.

Costa has taken a combined total of 10,828sq ft of space to deliver terrace units at Orbital Shopping Park in Swindon, Mayflower Retail Park in Basildon and Hercules Unit Trust’s Valentine Retail Park in Lincoln.

A pod has been installed at Lion Retail Park in Woking, and a drive thru is now open at Cuckoo Bridge Retail Park in Dumfries. Costa has also expanded into an adjacent unit at Forster Square Retail Park in Bradford.

John Maddison, head of retail park asset management for British Land, said: “These additions help us deliver a broader offer to customers, enhancing the appeal of our assets, and helping to ensure they remain locally preferred.”
