Costa has appointed a corporate responsibility programme manager to coordinate how to achieve the company’s goals over the next five years.

Victoria Moorhouse will be responsible for the development, execution and delivery of Costa’s corporate responsibility strategy, coordinating programme activities to achieve Costa’s 2020 CR targets across team and community, customer wellbeing and environment.

Kerry Parkin, head of CSR and communications at Costa, said: “Her passion for sustainability in the food and beverage industry will be a key driving force in our pledge to become a UK leader in business sustainability.”

Moorhouse previously worked at the Sustainable Restaurant Association (SRA) overseeing the programme team including the delivery of the Mayor of London’s Foodsave project.

Other previous roles included the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games as project manager for the catering, cleaning and waste operation as well as management consultancy for Capgemini and Delotte.
