Coffee#1, the brand owned by SA Brains, has strengthened its pipeline with a further four sites lined up for openings over the next three months to take it to 35 units.
The group, which was named Café/Coffee Bar Chain Award at the Café Society Awards for the fifth year running last month, will open in Leominster, Shirley in Southampton, Torquay and Weymouth.
The Southampton opening in August will become its most easterly launch as it looks to expand further across the south coast.
It opened its latest site in Winton, Bournemouth last month.
The 31-strong Coffee#1 opened its own ‘Academy’ training centre in Bristol earlier this year, which will train its next generation of baristas. It will also be used to train staff from the managed estate of Brains to improve its pub’s coffee offer.
