The owner of the TGI Friday’s restaurant brand is in talks to take full control of the British chain in a deal worth about £60m. The UK division, which has 46 outlets, is 60%-owned by AAC Capital, the private equity firm, while the brand’s owner Carlson, an American leisure company, owns the remainder.
