Five Guys and Papa John’s are to feature on a special ‘blue sky’ panel at MCA’s Hostech Conference this month, in which they’ll be sharing their vision for future progress on digital.
On the panel: Embracing the digital future, will feature be Rob Beattie president of international technology & digital, Papa Johns; Rory Scallan commercial director at Five Guys JV UK and Europe; Nick Fryer CTO, Dojo; Rob O’Beirne VP of Revenue, Nory AI. It will be hosted by Chris Fletcher, founder, Tech on Toast.
Panellists will discuss how tech can empower customers and operators, across all hospitality touchpoints, as well as their vision for future success in digital, encompassing everything from the evolution of loyalty and rewards, to ordering and payments, to robotics and AI.
Beattie has been at the pizza brand for the past two years, and before that was CTO at Haulfryn luxury holiday homes, head of digital product at Domino’s, and head of the National Lottery’s Camelot Labs.
Scallan has worked at premium burger brand Five Guys for five years, spending three years at coffee pod business Cru Kafe and three and a half years at Caffe Nero as a commercial analyst.
Taking place on Tuesday 22 October at The Ham Yard Hotel, London, MCA’s annual conference will feature top level speakers from some of the biggest brands across the eating and drinking out sector, who will be speaking about the latest tech and digital developments driving forward their businesses.
