Arc Inspirations, the Leeds-based bar operator, is implementing labour management technology from Catton Hospitality following a successful trial at four sites.

Following recent growth Arc Inspirations has adopted Catton’s S4Labour software in all 12 of its Northern based bars to help reduce their labour management costs and maximise staff productivity.

The provider of workforce planning software, consultancy and training is providing its online labour management system that enables the hospitality industry to forecast sales and roster staff accordingly. It provides valuable labour analysis helping to reduce costs whilst maintaining the ability to deliver high quality customer service.

Over the past 18 months Arc Inspirations has grown by 50%, opening four new sites and has plans to open more in 2015 and beyond. Having a much larger workforce, and 12 more geographically spread sites, has highlighted the need to have consistent labour management processes in place across all sites.

Andy Whelan, the financial director of Arc said: “Following our recent growth, we were looking for a proven and reliable system that could streamline our Labour management processes. We were really impressed with the simplicity of S4 Labour, its user-friendliness and the help and support we had received from the Catton team with the roll out.”

Following a successful trial at four Arc sites the labour management and scheduling technology is being rolled out across the whole estate.
