West Berkshire Brewery has started the fit-out of its new £4m brewery.

The equipment from Parma in Italy will start arriving from Monday at the brewery’s new 38,000 ft premises which will include a bar, café and shop.

As MCA revealed last month, the brewery is now expected to open in August.

The group is currently in the process of raising a further £3.8m to open further pubs.

David Bruce, chairman, said: “This is a transformational time for our Brewery and our £6m. investment in its future will create one of the most pre-eminent brewing and packaging facilities in the U.K.”
