Naked Ladies, the award-winning golden ale from Twickenham Fine Ales, is now available in Majestic Wine stores across the UK after being voted number one in a taste test of 400 beers.
The London-based craft brewery took inspiration for the 4.4% ABV beer from the stunning water nymph statues in Twickenham’s York House Gardens, locally known as the Twickenham Naked Ladies.
Twickenham, which has been brewing since 2004, is London’s oldest operational micro-brewery.
Naked Ladies was one of 400 beers sampled by customers during Majestic’s Oktoberfest last autumn.
he customers’ votes led to eight beers going forward to the group’s Beer Team composed of 200 volunteer tasters who crowned the Twickenham ale number one.
