Stonegate Pub Company has launched new season menus at its Classic Inns and Yates’s brands.

It is bringing winter comfort foods to its 70-strong Classic Inns estate while taking influences from Americana and street food trends with a customisable menu at its Yates’ bars.

A range of new winter dishes will be added to the existing Classic Inns menu including corned beef hash with fried egg & Parma ham starter; rioja beef & chorizo slow cooked pie; Thai green chicken curry and cottage pie.

The burger menu will be enlarged to include 7oz to 9oz burgers available as Classic Burger; Smoked Mozzarella & Bacon Burger; Black & Blue Burger topped with mushrooms and Dolcelatte, and the pulled pork burger are all served in a brioche bun, with beef tomato, mayonnaise, iceberg lettuce, gherkin, a pot of tomato & jalapeno relish and chips with the choice of sweet potato fries or potato wedges.

Across the Yate’s core estate it will roll-out 14 new dishes across all sections of the menu that customers are encouraged to customise their meals to suit their palate by changing sauces and side dishes.

“The street food culture is having a huge influence on casual dining sector in the UK and at Yates’s we have been quick to recognise that and adapt our menu”, said Alan Armstrong head of marketing for Yates’s. “The look and tone of our menu has changed too. We’ve made it fun with a few quirky-named dishes and have added some great pictures of our food choices so customers can really get those taste buds watering.”

The menu includes blueberry pancakes served for breakfast or as a dessert; bacon and maple syrup pancakes and porridge topped with syrup and blueberries for breakfast; an All-American sharing platter; Sloppy Mac Burger - a classic burger topped with chopped bacon and macaroni cheese; and Carolina Glazed Pork Belly. 

The lunchtime menu incorporates street food trends with two flatbreads, ‘Meat the Greek’ and ‘BBQ Pig’, alongside lower -500 calorie choices, such as a new Thai-style yellow chicken curry and a grilled rump steak salad.

It will run meal deal offers throughout the week to promote different menu choices each day.
