Lucky Voice has seen a 20% year-on-year increase in the number of karaoke rooms it powers from 17 in 2007 to 120 today reflecting a growing demand for in-bar entertainment.

The group, which celebrates its 10th anniversary next month, has grown its presence with Singstation machines installed in bars, pubs and hotels across the UK, Ireland and Australia.

Nick Jones, Head of B2B Solutions at Lucky Voice, said: “There’s no denying that the last few years have been challenging for the hospitality industry. Now things are picking up, we’re left with consumers that want a more event-led night out, while business owners are looking to pre-booked revenue to control cash flow. Lucky Voice Solutions helps businesses offer something unique and memorable to their customers, and monetises space. With our own bar heritage (Lucky Voice Soho has just entered its tenth year of trading), we also understand the challenges faced by business owners, which is why we place such an emphasis on post-purchase customer care to ensure the success of their karaoke offering.”

The company said competition has increased around its original Soho venue; 10 years ago there were 14 other karaoke bars but there are now more than 60.
