Brulines, the beer flow monitoring company, has acquired Lookout Solutions, the Oxford-based vending industry telemetry solutions provider, for an undisclosed sum. The company said that the solutions provided by Lookout would be integrated with those already offered by the its subsidiary business Vianet Limited to create “a one stop shop for vending telemetry, contactless payment processing and vending management software solutions”. Established in February 2008, Lookout counts AG Barr, the maker of Irn-Bru, Strathmore and Rubicon, amongst its customers. As part of the deal Mark Boland, the founder and managing director of Lookout joins Vianet as sales and marketing director with immediate effect reporting to Stewart Darling, managing director of Brulines' leisure division. Brulines said it aimed to become a market leader in the provision of telemetry, contactless payment processing and ERP software solutions for the global vending market.
