AB InBev has reported that in its third quarter UK volumes were up in single digits, driven by strong performances by Budweiser and Corona.
Across Europe beer volumes were down 2.6% with net revenue up 3.1%, boosted mainly by premium brands.
Beer volumes in western Europe were up 3%, thanks to strong performances in the UK, France, Spain and Italy.
The group said total sales were up 2.8% in the third quarter and 3.3% in the year to date.
Total volumes declined by 0.9% in Q3 with own beer volumes down by 0.2%.
EBITDA fell by 2%, driven by weak results in Brazil.
