Young’s, the pub operator, has added further restaurant operating experience to its board with appointment of Trish Corzine, formerly of The Restaurant Group (TRG), as a non-executive director with immediate effect.
Before her retirement from the board of TRG in 2013, Corzine spent 20 years with the company, nine as an executive director responsible for their concessions business.
Corzine, who joins David Page, former chairman of PizzaExpress on the group’s board, has spent the majority of her career in the restaurant industry.
Nicholas Bryan, Young’s chairman, said: “I am delighted that Trish has agreed to join our board. Her experience, knowledge and passion will assist us as we build on our premium position and continue to develop the style, quality and individuality of our pubs and hotels. My colleagues and I are very much looking forward to working with her.”
