Yo Yo Noodle, the Lincoln-based Chinese food chain, has lined up a further three openings and has signed up a franchisee to launch the concept in Nigeria, chief executive Jadey Li has told M&C Report.

The next three openings, which are due to be signed off imminently, are in Southampton, Warrington and Solihull. They will take the UK estate to nine sites.

Last year Yo Yo Noodle said it is also looking to expand in India via franchise, and is targeting an initial five openings.

Li told M&C Report: “In regards to India we have been setting up the back office of the project and internal training. We are currently looking to open stores initially in Mumbai as our pilot operation.

“We have also recently signed off a franchise in Nigeria and are in talks with people in the United States and also the Middle East.”

The group’s most recent openings were in Ealing, west London, and Fallowfield in Manchester. It also operates sites in Newcastle, Croydon, Nottingham and Rotherham.
