Immersive restaurant company, Wonderland Restaurants, has announced the upcoming opening of its first concept: Park Row.

In partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products and DC, the restaurant will be a fully immersive DC-inspired experience, inspired by the stories of various characters including Batman, Harley Quinn and The Penguin.

Launching in Spring, Park Row will occupy a 18,000 sq ft basement venue at 77 Brewer Street, a Grade II listed building comprised of five DC-themed restaurants and three bar areas.

The concept also includes a multi-sensory tasting menu experience – The Monarch Theatre – which will be housed within two identical spaces using projection mapping technology.

Wonderland Restaurants, formed by former Disney executive and CEO of The Fat Duck Group James Bulmer, has said it is looking to work with a number of restaurant concepts and global brands in order to evolve food and drink innovation.

Other members of the creative team include Mike Bagale, formerly of three-Michelin starred Anlinnea in Chicago as creative director and Claudio Cardoso formerly of Sushisamba as group executive chef.

“This is a project many years in the making, with every detail carefully thought out to deliver a unique experience for our guests,” said Bulmer. “Trends in our sector are moving towards fun, immersive and experiential dining and our aim is to demonstrate this on a grand scale with exceptional food and drink to match.”

Average spend per head starts from £45 and £120 at the Monarch Theatre.
