Wingstop has announced its biggest openings pipeline since launching in the UK in 2018, with nine new locations to open this year and a further six under negotiation for 2024.

Lemon Pepper Holdings, the UK master franchisee for Wingstop, will open new sites in Hounslow, Clapham High Street, Watford, Croydon Valley Retail Park, Wood Green, Lakeside Shopping Centre, Westfield Stratford City, Merry Hill, and a second site in Leeds.

The wing concept currently operates 39 sites in the UK, with today’s announcement marking a yearly opening record across multiple formats: high street, retail park, and shopping centre.

All sites will offer wings, tenders, burgers, and sides cooked to order, with ten sauce flavours to choose from.

The new sites will have modern and vibrant interiors, with curated playlists and customised ordering options.

Wingstop recently announced it will open its biggest site to date at Westfield Stratford City. The 5,000 sq ft venue will host over 160 covers.

Tom Grogan, co-founder of Lemon Pepper Holdings, said: “2024 is going to be our biggest ever year of growth. We are proud to be opening across the country and creating up to 750 new jobs. In just five short years as a business, we have certainly made our mark, offering the best-tasting wings in the business alongside an authentic and customised dining experience. There is huge momentum, and we are just getting started. We can’t wait for more of the UK to try our delicious food!”
