Liz Williams, who stepped down as managing director of the Real Greek chain in May, has taken up the role of general manager of Loch Fyne Restaurants, the casual dining group owned by pub company Greene King. Williams, who became managing director of the Real Greek in October 2009, left the six-strong company just over a month before it was sold to Kefi Limited, the company led by Nabil Mankarious and David Page. She will oversee the 43-strong Loch Fyne business, which was acquired by Greene King for £68.1m four years ago, in June. The acquisition of Loch Fyne in August 2007 marked Greene King’s first foray into the restaurant market.
