Jason Wells, the founder of the London-based Brew Café and Antipodea brands, has launched a further concept, which aims to bring a slice of the “Aussie beach style” to the River Thames.

Wells has launched bar, restaurant and café concept, the Bondi Beach Club, at the Thames Ditton Marina.

The site joins the rest of Wells’ portfolio, which currently comprises four Brew sites and three Antipodea locations.

Late last year, the company appointed former Ping Pong chief executive Paul Sarlas to head up the expansion of its two core concepts.

Wells said the company would take a site-specific approach to new openings, with smaller sites to be launched under the Brew Café braned, and larger sites to be Antipodea restaurants.

The group will target locations such as Oxshott, Cobham and Teddington, before looking to establish a presence in North London locations such as St John’s Wood and Hampstead Heath.
