Wahaca, the fast casual Mexican concept, has confirmed it will open on Atlantic Road, Brixton in October.
The restaurant will move into the former Bradys pub and hotel site to become the 12th Wahaca in the capital.
The group, which is led by Thomasina Miers and Mark Selby, is making its regional debut in Cardiff this autumn and is understood to be looking at sites in Manchester, Liverpool and Brighton.
Wahaca also operates two Mexican Street Kitchen sites on the South Bank and at Canary Wharf as well as a restaurant at Bluewater shopping centre.
The group launched a new street food concept called DF/Mexico last month at London’s Spitalfields on a temporary 18 month site, whcih Selby told M&C Report would be “used to take away further learnings and to keep our teams fresh”.
